Guide to Ski Ability Levels
Level 1: Never skied before
Level 2: Able to do a snow-plow (wedge) slide and stop on a gentle slope
Level 3: Able to do a series of turns on a gentle slope
You can pay lesson fees at our ski school reception.Payment methods are cash and credit card.

•Ski School lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled due to natural disaster, snow conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
•We cannot be held liable for any losses sustained as a result of theft, injury, illness, natural disaster, or the actions of customers, intentional or otherwise.
•Accidents and/or injuries sustained during lesson hours will be covered by the Ski School’s insurance policy, but as the amount of coverage is limited, we highly recommend obtaining your own insurance.

Getting here by car
Drive time from Tokyo to Kagura Ski Resort is approximately 2hrs 20min (167km from Nerima IC on the Kanetsu Expressway [toward Niigata]).
Exit at Yuzawa IC and take Kokudo Route 17 to the Mitsumata Station parking area (about 8km).
Parking capacity is 1200 vehicles, and parking is free except as noted below.
Parking fee is ¥1,000 per vehicle on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays December 3 ~ May 28, and all days December 29 ~ January 3.
*Current information on ski areas, road conditions, and snow conditions is available at the “Kamizato Information Center” at the Kamizato service area.
Getting here by train
Take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo station to Echigo Yuzawa Station (travel time is approximately 70min).
Take the shuttle bus from the West Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station to Kagura Ski Area (10km trip takes approximately 20 min).
